Delivery Info
1. How long will my order take before it is delivered?
We anticipate delivering your furniture within 6-8 weeks from the date you order. Each of our ranges take different time to deliver, so it is impossible to give a definite delivery date until it has arrived at our factory. Many items in our ranges are made to order so vary greatly on the manufacturer and supply chain. If you order is delayed for some reason, we will keep you up to date! If you have ordered more than one item, we will wait until all pieces are ready and all pieces will be delivered at once.
2. How much will delivery cost?
A one man delivery is charged at £40 to a British mainland address. We do operate a door stop delivery service, however our driver will put your furniture in the desired room if you like. If you have ordered larger pieces which are too heavy for one man to lift, please arrange for someone to be there to help. Alternatively, we can send another man at a charge of £30.
Please note that supplements apply for delivery to Cornwall/Devon/Dorset, North Wales/Cumbria, and Central & Northern Scotland at £15. Delivery to other destinations, including overseas can be quoted on request.
3. What happens if my furniture is damaged in transit?
We are proud to state that we have very few problems with transport damage. All of our furniture will be delivered using our own vans where possible. It is well wrapped and loaded in a proficient manner. Where it is not possible for us to delivery ourselves, we will only use our most trusted carriers.
In the unlikely event that damage in transport does happen, you must inform us of the damage in writing on the delivery documents. You can take as long as you like to check over your furniture whilst our driver is there, so we urge our customers to take their time and check thoroughly. This is for your benefit as it may take some time for us to re-collect your furniture and replace it.
4. Will my furniture be assembled?
Most of our furniture is already assembled; however some larger pieces such as wardrobes and beds need assembly. They are supplied with all relevant parts including tools, screws and clear instructions. Dining tables are designed so that the legs come off for delivery purposes but our driver will attach them once inside the house. If you require beds or wardrobes to be assembled for you, this must be arranged prior to deliver and a charge of £20.
It is important that you take the time to check that your furniture will fit into your home and in the desired location. Please take into account doors, pipes, sockets and light switches.
